Delete Account and Data
Last updated: July 31, 2026
FlirtPilot gives you control over your data. You can clear your saved profile information at any time from within the App, or request full account deletion. This page explains your options and what happens to your data.
How to request deletion of your data
- Option 1 — Clear profile data (App button)Open FlirtPilot, go to the More (Settings) tab, open Account, and tap "Clear my data". This immediately removes all your saved profile context (dating goals, interests, vibe, style, etc.) by setting those fields to null in our database. Your account stays active and you can re-enter your information anytime.
- Option 2 — Delete account (App button)Open FlirtPilot, go to the More (Settings) tab, open Account, and tap "Delete account". This permanently deletes your account, all saved profile data, and usage history. Your subscription is cancelled and will not renew. This action cannot be undone.
- Option 3 — Request deletion by emailSend an email to privacy@flirtpilot.app from the email address registered with your FlirtPilot account. Use the subject line "Delete my account" and state that you want your account and all personal data deleted. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email.
- Option 4 — Contact SupportYou can also request account deletion by contacting our support team through the in-app support chat or by emailing support@flirtpilot.app. Our team will assist you with the full deletion process and confirm once your data has been removed.
What data is deleted
- When you use "Clear my data": All your saved profile context (dating goals, self-description, interests, vibe, style, education, work, and any other data you saved in the Me tab) is set to null.
- When you request full account deletion: Your account and authentication details (via Supabase Auth), your saved profile context, and all associated data are permanently deleted.
- Any chat or profile screenshots you uploaded — these are only processed for the single request and are not stored in the first place.
What data is retained and for how long
After a deletion request, the following data may be kept for the periods shown:
| Data | Reason | Retention period |
| Support tickets and email correspondence | To respond to and track support requests you have submitted | Up to 12 months after your request, then deleted |
| Subscription and purchase records (via RevenueCat) | To comply with tax, accounting, and billing legal obligations and to prevent fraud | As long as required by applicable law (typically up to 7 years), but not used to process any new activity |
| Usage counters and request logs | For operational and security purposes | Only as long as needed for operations, then deleted (typically up to 90 days) |
| Copies in backups | Backup recovery | Deleted within 30 days of the deletion request |
Clearing profile data via the App button is immediate and only removes your saved context — your account stays active. Full account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. An active subscription is not cancelled automatically — if you subscribed through the Google Play or Apple App Store, cancel it in the respective store to stop future charges. Purchase history required by law cannot be deleted and remains subject to the retention periods above.
